4 kreuzer, Würzburg, Gustav II Adolf, 1634

On the obverse (front) of this coin is the large Swedish coat of arms, and on the reverse (back) we see Christ with the inscription (text) SALVATOR MUNDI ADIUVA NOS – Saviour of the world, help us.

Würzburg in Bavaria was in Swedish hands between 1631 and 1635. In Würzburg, 4 Kreuzer coins were struck for the city in 1634 in addition to coins for the Swedes.
