The Kreuger Crash
Sweden suffered a number of economic crises in the early 20th century. One of the worst was the Kreuger Crash, triggered by the bankruptcy of the Kreuger Group in 1932. The group had borrowed hundreds of millions and was unable to repay its loans. The display case contains one of the share certificates that became worthless after the bankruptcy.
