2 daler silvermynt, Stockholm, Adolf Fredrik, 1770

During the reign of Adolf Fredrik, the small coat of arms was used on coins instead of the large coat of arms. This practice continued until 1844, when King Oscar I reverted to using the great coat of arms. On the coin we see the small coat of arms surrounded by the Order of the Seraphim together with the king's motto and the denomination 2 D S M - 2 daler silver coins.
