10 öre, Köpenhamn, Christian IX av Danmark, 1875

The lowest Danish denomination in silver was the 10 øre and, like the other silver coins, they feature the portrait of Denmark's King Christian IX on the obverse (front). On the reverse (back), the denomination is surrounded by a dolphin, a symbol of seafaring, and an ear of barley, a symbol of agriculture.
