2 kronor, Stockholm, Oscar II, 1907

On the two krona coin, we see the portrait of King Oscar II and the text, the legend, ‘Oscar II King of Sweden and Norway’. On the reverse (back), we see Sweden's great coat of arms, the Royal Mint of Stockholm's mark, St Erik, and the initials ‘EB’ of the mintmaster Emil Brusewitz. At the top is the King's motto ‘The Good of the Brotherly People’, and at the bottom the denomination 2 kronor.

Two kronor were issued in silver until 1966, then in copper-nickel between 1968 and 1971, and from 2016 in copper-plated steel.
