1/2 dukat, Stockholm, Fredrik I, 1747

Ducats made of gold from the Ädelfors gold mine in Småland were issued during the reign of King Fredrik I. On the reverse (back) of this coin we see a radiant North Star – a symbol of the fatherland – above the crowned national small coat of arms.
