1 krona, Stockholm, Gustaf VI Adolf, 1968

This one-krona coin was minted in 1968, when Gustaf VI Adolf was King of Sweden. His portrait in profile adorns one side of the coin, together with his name and title in the legend (text). The other side shows a crowned coat of arms with the year and denomination. The inscription consists of King Gustaf's motto: ‘PLEDGE ABOVE ALL.’

This one-krona type was also valid during the reign of his successors, but like many other coins it became invalid in 2017.
