10 riksdaler riksmynt, Norrköpings Enskilda Bank, 1867

Norrköpings Enskilda Bank in Östergötland began operating in 1857. Its shareholders included A.O. Wallenberg and J.A. Wallenberg. In the early years, the bank issued notes in 5, 10, 50, 100 and 500 riksdaler riksmynt denominations. The two lowest denominations have as a vignette a crowned shield with the Norrköping coat of arms, the letter N and an axe. The higher denominations show two angels bearing the coat of arms of Norrköping.

This 10-krona banknote dating back to 1877 was printed at the J. Bagge printing works in Stockholm. The notes printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co in London show a woman spinning. The bank issued banknotes from 1857 to 1887 and gave up its right to issue banknotes in 1902.
