2 öre, Kongsberg, Oscar II, 1897

Like the 5 and 1 öre coins, the Norwegian 2 öre coins are made of bronze and have the monogram of King Oscar II and the Norwegian coat of arms on the obverse (front) and the denomination on the reverse (back) surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves. The last time the 2 øre was issued in Norway was in 1972 under King Olav V.
