25 öre, Stockholm, Oscar II, 1877
On the obverse (front) of the 25-euro coin we see King Oscar II's crowned monogram, ‘O’, and a Roman number two, ‘II’, together with Oscar II's motto ‘The Good of the Brethren’, which was changed to ‘The Good of Sweden’ after the dissolution of the Swedish-Norwegian Union in 1905.
