Örtug, Stockholm, Karl Knutsson Bonde, 1448–1457

This örtug coin was minted in Stockholm during the period 1448-1457 when Karl Knutsson Bonde was king. His reign was turbulent, and he became king of Sweden three times, and for a short time also of Norway.

The reverse of the coin shows Sweden's coat of arms, three crowns, and on the reverse is a boat, which is the Bonde family's coat of arms.
