1 dukat, Stockholm, Karl XIII, 1810

This is a ducat struck in 1810 from gold from Dalarna. We can see that the gold is from there at the bottom of the coin's reverse, where Dalarna's coat of arms with the crossed Dalarna arrows is depicted. The mintage was small, 1322 coins, and it was to be the last of its kind. There were plans for another mintage in 1818 but it never materialised.
