20 kronor, Stockholm, Gustaf V, 1925

In 1925, the last Swedish gold coin was struck in the regular coin series, the 20-krona coin, which was introduced with the founding of the Scandinavian Monetary Union in 1875. On the obverse (front) is a portrait of King Gustav V and on the reverse (back) the great coat of arms of Sweden with the Order of the Seraphim and the denomination 20 kronor. Today, only commemorative and jubilee coins are struck in gold, in higher denominations, up to 4000 kronor.
