10 kronor, Tumba, Sveriges riksbank, 1968

Note in the denomination of 10 kronor issued in 1968 to commemorate the Riksbank's (Sweden's central bank) 300th anniversary. Over the years, a long series of commemorative coins (jubilee coins) have been issued, while the issue of commemorative banknotes is limited to only three occasions. In addition to this ten-krona banknote, the Riksbank issued a five-krona banknote in 1948 to commemorate the 90th birthday of King Gustav V, and in 2005 a 100-krona banknote to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Tumba Bruk.

The motif on this jubilee banknote from 1968 is a seated Mother Svea and the reverse is adorned with an engraving of the Gamla Banco building at Järntorget in Stockholm.
