2 daler silvermynt, Avesta, Karl XII, 1718
Triangular and rhombic centre stamps were introduced during the reign of Karl XII. This triangular centre stamp bearing the Göta lion on a coat of arms shows that the coin dates back to 1718. The corner stamps feature the small coat of arms, three crowns, instead of the king’s monogram.
