4000 kronor, Eskilstuna, Carl XVI Gustaf, 2010
This commemorative coin was issued for the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel on 19 June 2010. On the obverse (front) is a portrait of the bride and groom and on the reverse (back) the coat of arms of the Crown Princess together with butterflies.
The butterflies are associated with Carl Michael Bellman's song ‘Butterfly winged is seen on Haga’ and the couple's future residence at Haga Castle. The value of the commemorative coin, 4000 kronor, is the highest issued in modern times.
