The obverse (front) of the coin you see here shows King Gustav II Adolf of Sweden. On the obverse (back), he is depicted with the name “Yahweh” – God in Hebrew – above his head.

Gustav II Adolf took the city of Würzburg in Bavaria in 1631. Gold and silver coins were made either in or adjacent to the city in 1631 and 1632.
